| Responsibilities | - Lead and manage shift operations to ensure the highest levels of safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement shift schedules, assign tasks and monitor team performance to achieve operational objectives.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to facilitate timely and effective maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and control the plant operations through advanced control systems, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare and review operational reports, incident reports, and any other documentation required to maintain records and comply with company policies.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure all shifts are adequately staffed and equipped with the necessary resources to operate the plant safely, reliably, and efficiently.
- Assess the condition of the plant at the beginning of each shift and communicate critical information to the team. Ensure that comprehensive and precise details are conveyed to the subsequent shift.
- Prepare, issue and cancel various types of safety documents in accordance with the daily and weekly maintenance plans to facilitate both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
- Foster effective communication among Permit Coordinators, Field Coordinators, and maintenance planning teams to ensure the safe execution of all safety documents and the normalization and restoration of equipment. |
